Three new Masterwood machines for Ligna
Hall 25, Stand B61
Masterwood is to unveil three new CNC machining centres for fast and accurate panel and joinery processing, as well as announcing substantial improvement to two existing models.
Among new machines to be showcased will be the Project 300 entry level model. It features an X stroke of 3200mm, driven by rack and pinion, together with a newly developed boring head with 7 + 7 vertical drills and 6 horizontal drills. Available in three different versions, the Project 300 can be specified for panel production or for solid timber machining.”
New for joinery production will be the Project 400 range, which also incorporates the new boring head plus a much improved three position dust extraction hood that's N.C. controlled.
Also for joinery is the new Teknomat 1000 which has a chisel plus a router head and makes state-of-the-art technology affordable for the small-to-medium sized company. Not just a CNC mortising machine, it's so much more with the routing head attached.
Masterwood will be unveiling several new CNC machining centres at Ligna to extend their existing range, which includes this Project 5 model.
Updated machines on show will be the four axis Project 500 L with an automatic table, which now features the new boring head system as standard together with an improved dust extraction system, N.C. controlled, and a five axis Project 5H L.
Russell Corlett and the team from Masterwood (UK) Ltd will be on hand throughout the show and look forward to meeting visitors from the UK and Ireland.
