New automatic table and sliding sash window software from
Masterwood
Xylexpo: Hall 2P, Stand G01 K10
Among innovative new products to be unveiled by panel and joinery CNC machining centre specialist Masterwood will be an automatic table for use with its CNC machining centres and the unique Master Sliding Sash window software program.
With the automatic table, for solid wood components, setting up time can be cut from 15 minutes to as little as 10 seconds. It will be demonstrated on a Project 523t.
Basically, a CNC machining centre equipped with an automatic table will move its own aluminium supports and attached pneumatic clamps and stops into position at the beginning of each machining cycle.
It will even transfer wood between clamps at appropriate parts of the cycle, so that it can be machined on both sides. All that is needed is for the operator to place the wood at the beginning of the cycle and remove it at the end.
The CAD/CAM Master Sliding Sash software represents a major step forward in the technology of producing double-hung wooden sliding sash windows.
It allows users to design and produce the three main types of double-hung sliding sash windows; box, spiral and tilting.
It automatically produces a complete cutting list and
drawing of every component, plus all the machining programmes, in a matter
of minutes.
It can design the three different types of sliding sash windows in either
rectangular, half-round or segmented arch shapes. In addition, it caters for
combinations of different types of sashes within the same window.
Like all Masterwood software, it is Windows-based and extremely easy to learn
and to use.
Also being shown will be a Project 315, Project 415, the five-axis Project
5, a Teknomat 2000 and a Teknomat 5000, plus a door line.
Among other software from the Masterwood library to be demonstrated will be
the three levels of Master Cabinet.
Masterwood (UK) Ltd managing director Russell Corlett extends a cordial invitation
for visitors from the UK and Ireland to stop off at the stand at see all the
latest developments.
